Readjusting things so I can get a print accepted

This was something I had planed since I saw the band in April, but never seriously got around to. After my June 5th expierience with the band, I decided it needed to get done, and have been working on it off and on since then. It took more work than I had intended, but I had a lot of fun with it.
I drew out all the characters, and then scanned them in. In photoshop I traced all my drawings with the pen tool and then colored them up using photoshop.
Thanks to the band for such wonderful experiences.
I plan on getting shirts made up through zazzle.com...I'll edit this deviation to let people know when I do.
switching Billy's outfit to white was a good choice.. i'm just now taking full notice of that one i wonder how many other's will notice those subtle nuances in here... or those "happy mistakes" if you like.
very nice work.. i guess this is better than the Tool one, huh? not that that one is bad, but i see what you were saying now.
im getting a shirt, im getting a shirt, im getting a shirt *does bass player impression w/o the bass*

Thank you. I don't know why i hadn't considered using the pin tool in photoshop to trace my sketches. that's what made the line work shine. I'm happy to hear the simplicity is actually well received!
oh man, you finally did it. This is great, I especially like how you fit the movement of Josh into the logo. The soft colors accent the picture perfectly also. I cant imagine how you would improve upon this. Its great

Glad you like it. I changed their placement so that it would fit a composition I liked, but I'm pretty happy. the thing with Josh's drum stick was pure accident, and how Maynard's nose goes right into the circle....The only thing I really did to continue that was deform and hide Jordie's bass to create the other hook.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
