Here's a preview of a Blackbeard the Pirate sculpt I did with Sideshow Collectibles. They've JUST shown some photos in preparation for solicitation. They did a beautiful job with paint and fabrication. Very cool looking, evil bastard![link]
Anyway, I'll post some more photos in the next few days. This one was based on the myth/legend of Blackbeard, which is all vague and sparse. It was challenging! I was shocked Sideshow would trust me to tackle this guy. I'm not normally approached for anything other than a likeness. This is part of a 1/4 scale statue. Sculpted in various waxes. more pics to come later. enjoy! On a side note, would you happen to know if Sideshow Collectibles (or anyone for that matter) ever did anything relating to the film Equilibrium? So many good poses and I can't find anything.
