This is a 1/6 scale Peter O'Toole as T.E. Lawrence.
I sculpted this one for myself, so it won't be produced as a figure. I'm planing on offering castings to any figure customizers who might be jonesing to FINALLY have that Lawrence of Arabia action figure.
This was sculpted in wax ("TMS" for the head, Willowproduct's "Zen" for the hair)
Thanks for looking! "We can't all be lion tamers."
wax is great! Once you get used to it, it's as simple as clay sculpture. you just have to heat your tools. The advantage it gives with small work like this is unparalleled! Trev
Great!) I like your works very much!) U make a models with very good exactness. I think for making a portrait or sculpture artist must see a man with all his features and can reproduce what he see. I hope u know what i'm talking about))) Many people draw and only 1 for 100 can draw a good portrait .. So I think u can see and reproduce characters looks like original)
Just wondering - have you painted the eyes? Nice work as usual - Lawrence lived near me - died in a motorcycle crash by Bovington camp as I remember...
