This is strange, certainly. It was made in my high school art class. That's the one thing I respect about a class environment, tons of diverse projects.

The project was to shape an egg from a plaster cast of a styrofoam cup. After it was shaped and smoothed, we needed to put designs on it...I opted for a simple character. carved with an etching tool and a few other various gouging tools. brush painted with acrylic.

This is amazing...great job on the colors and how perfectly shaped everything looks. The texture really adds a lot to this, and the photos and setup of the actual image is done very well!

my aphorism: comments are like candies. It's nice to get one once in a while, when you're good. But asking for one not only makes you sound greedy but ruins the surprise when you DO get one. Comments are a privilege, not a requirement.

In all seriousness, it's an awesome piece of work. Disturbing but wonderful. My sense of humor has always been a bit on the dark side. I'm favoring this.
