My attempt at a rotation...click to see full rotation of Gunslinger. I especially like the moving backdrop with the piece of duct tape. ;)

************

There was a time I called this Roland Deschain of Gilead, though after finishing the fantastic Dark Tower series, I no longer see him this way. (an excuse to resculpt him) I gave this piece to my brother [link] for xmas.

Needless to say now, but this is my initial interpretation of the Gunslinger after reading up to the Drawing of the Three. The likeness was loosely based on Lance Henriksen.

First hack at a realistic sculpture. Super Sculpey over two months. Just the first of many steps in learning this exciting field. He was done at 1/6th scale.

plenty more pictures to come.

thank you. I know some awesome forums and websites that have inspired and helped me learn a lot! I'll pass them on to you. I can't get to them very easily at the moment, but I'll send you the links...it's amazing all the information you can learn from working professionals on the web...

thanks for the comments!

isn't that backdrop sumthin'?! lol! I'm amazed at how lazy I'll get after I finish a piece....it would have maybe taken 10 minutes to reshoot the rotation with a proper backdrop, but I just wouldn't do it. ;)

thanks for the comments

Trev
Indeed, it is. :giggle:

As for the comment, you're most welcome. =D

You always have a wonderfully eclectic gallery, by the way. You have a true talent there, use it well. ;) 8-)
