Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.

My attempt at a rotation...click to see full rotation of Gunslinger. I especially like the moving backdrop with the piece of duct tape.
 ************ There was a time I called this Roland Deschain of Gilead, though after finishing the fantastic Dark Tower series, I no longer see him this way. (an excuse to resculpt him) I gave this piece to my brother [link] for xmas. Needless to say now, but this is my initial interpretation of the Gunslinger after reading up to the Drawing of the Three. The likeness was loosely based on Lance Henriksen. First hack at a realistic sculpture. Super Sculpey over two months. Just the first of many steps in learning this exciting field.
