This was an assignment in my art class...it was meant to be a perspective study...and I suppose it has some decent perspective elements, but it certainly is nothing astounding for me in that respect

What I do really love about it is the opportunity it gave me to use oil pastels...god do I love these things. I had a lot of fun rendering this picture, and I hope that shows.

thanks to daxxon [link] my pal Dan, who gave me the idea of drawing TOOL, since he knew I loved their music, and saw I was bored with the project... that made it all the more enjoyable...gave me an opportunity to listen to "Push It" while I drew.

the shading shadowing is fantastic.. love the perspective too

agreed...it does look best from far away, but I didn't want to hide the truth that it's rough and the proportions are off and it is generally a flawed piece...

there is just something about the experience that I think resonates through the picture....I dunno...I loved the time spent with it.
